Beta on EA

The ‘beta’ label means you’re looking at an early release of a new online service or web page.  The beta label is displayed with a new service to show it is still being tested – so it may not work for everyone.  Redesigned services should be easier to use than the services they replace.

The beta phase

When using any our ‘beta’ services you can sometimes experience issues with how it works. During this phase we want to gather feedback to make improvements and fix issues.  So your feedback is important.  You can leave your comments about the beta service by selecting feedback below.

Sometimes a beta service will be available at the same time as an older, existing service - you can choose which one to use.

Successful beta services eventually replace any older online services that perform the same task.

The Education and Library Boards (ELBs) were dissolved on 31 March 2015. The Education Authority was established on 01 April 2015 and is now responsible for all of the operational functions previously carried out by the five ELBs in accordance with the Education Orders.
