Tickets on sale for the City of Belfast School of Music Christmas Concert

A number of tickets are available for the annual City of Belfast School of Music (CBSM) Christmas Concert on Friday 9 December at the city’s iconic Ulster Hall.

All your festive favourites will be performed by the young musicians from CBSM, starting at 7.30pm. The City of Belfast Youth Concert Band get things under way under conductor Colin Irvine. The CBSM Junior Chorale, conducted by Ruth McCoy will be accompanied by Rowena Eames and the excellent Classical Harp Ensemble will perform a Christmas medley under the direction of Colleen Rose McCabe.

The CBSM Junior Band, led by Rebecca Moore, take a break from the festive mood with their rendition of Deep Purple’s Smoke on the Water before the City of Belfast Youth Orchestra, take centre stage under conductor Paul McBride.

Cantanti will be accompanied by Jannah Bell on flute before the City of Belfast Youth Orchestra get back on stage for the concert finale. Tickets can be purchased from the Ulster Hall Box office, priced £10 for adult and £5 for students. Phone 028 9033 4455 for details.

The Education and Library Boards (ELBs) were dissolved on 31 March 2015. The Education Authority was established on 01 April 2015 and is now responsible for all of the operational functions previously carried out by the five ELBs in accordance with the Education Orders.
