Pre-School Children with Special Educational Needs

The Special Educational Needs Early Years Inclusion Service (SENEYIS) aims to promote the optimum development of pre-school children with special educational needs by providing support to children, families and pre-school settings. Children are referred to the SENEYIS through the Interim Regional Early Years SEN Panel. SENEYIS is a regional service and local offices can be contacted between 9.00 am to 5.00 pm. Monday to Friday.

SERVICES & INFORMATION

The Education and Library Boards (ELBs) were dissolved on 31 March 2015. The Education Authority was established on 01 April 2015 and is now responsible for all of the operational functions previously carried out by the five ELBs in accordance with the Education Orders.
