EA publish first area plan for Northern Ireland

The Education Authority (EA) has published the first ever regional area plan for education in Northern Ireland.  Providing Pathways 2017-2020 sets out the priorities for providing a network of schools that meet the needs of the population.

The overarching aim of the plan to ensure that all pupils have access to a broad and balanced curriculum in sustainable, fit-for-purpose schools.

Providing Pathways 2017-2020 is accompanied by an action plan for 2017-18. The action plan identifies the key issues at a local level within each local government district area that will be addressed in 2017-18.
