Getting Ready to Learn

Getting Ready to Learn seeks to support pre-school settings with DE Funded places to encourage and develop parental involvement in children’s early learning to ensure maximum parental contribution at a crucial time in children’s early brain development.

The focus is on supporting parents to improve their young children’s home learning environment by raising awareness about how children develop; the importance of parent-child relationships for the child’s development and behaviour; the importance of childhood education and learning; and the importance of healthy lifestyles and diet.

In this short video, some parents and practitioners share their experiences of Getting Ready to Learn.
