During the visit, the children met two members of the police service, who spoke to them about their role in supporting the community, the importance of road safety, and how to stay visible when walking outdoors. Children then participated in a guided tour of the local community, visiting veterinary practice, library, a local councillor’s office, and concluding at the supermarket - where they were treated to hot food and a Christmas gift.
