What is EA ONE?
EA One will be an integrated HR, Payroll and Finance system that will make HR and Payroll processes more efficient.
EA One will impact all EA Corporate Staff, non-Teaching schools staff paid by the Education Authority, and Teaching staff paid by the Department of Education Teacher Pay Team.
iProcurement and iFS are already live, and the EA is focused on supporting schools and corporate staff as we launch three new elements by 2021: Online Recruitment, Self-Service and Digital Timecards & Pay.
The Online Recruitment system is the new digital platform to complete e-Requisitions using job role templates and provide full visibility of the recruitment process and applications received. It is used to advertise posts and allow candidates to create a candidate profile to apply for multiple roles online.
After a successful go live for corporate roles in June 2019, Online Recruitment is also available for school-based posts and teaching positions in schools in the Controlled sector since 9 January 2020.
To learn more about Online Recruitment, please read our FAQ, watch our training video or register to the upcoming training sessions.

With Online Recruitment live, the EA One Project team is preparing for the launch of HR Self-Service and Digital Timecards. These elements will be going live region by region in 2020 and 2021, with schools receiving notification at least three months in advance.
EA One will help reduce our reliance on paper documents and post/email.
For example, Self-Service will empower you to update your personal details and view your annual leave entitlement directly.
For staff who support the recruitment process or complete timesheets using ResourceLink, you will also benefit from removing many paper-based processes by using Online Recruitment and Digital Timecards.

Users paid by EA will be migrating region by region and depending on whether they are paid a the end of the month or mid-month. The phased implementation will start in September 2020 and will end in November 2021.
Each region will be informed of when they are affected at least 3 months in advance.
The EA One team is committed to support each one of you with the transition to the new system. The phased implementation ensures that we can provide the best training and support at each stage.
A combination of face-to-face training and online guides will be available before go-live. Additionally, a support team will be deployed to answer your queries.
More information about training dates and materials will be provided to individuals affected ahead of each implementation.
The EA One User Group is a representative group of users (Schools, Youth Clubs, EA Directorates) that meets every month to give feedback, provide insights and inform the implementation of EA One.
