2021 Regional Engagement Sessions
The Project will be running one hour, live virtual engagement sessions approximately three months before each region moves to the new system. These engagement sessions will be targeted at timecard inputters and submitters. We strongly encourage all timecard inputters and submitters to attend this session to find out more about what training and support you will receive in advance of moving to the new system. The first session will be for Belfast and Omagh schools and is scheduled for June 2021. This session will be recorded and links to watch the session will be made available on the EA One Hub.
Given that the focus is initially in delivering the new digital timecard across all regions, the Project will focus on engaging, training and supporting timecard inputters and submitters to build their confidence in the system in advance of when the system goes live in their region. The Project will later run a Self-Service Campaign to engage with all school and EA Corporate Staff to promote the new Self-Service functionality and to equip staff with the information and support they need to fully benefit from this service.
What training will I receive?
The Project will be delivering instructor led training for all timecard inputters approximately one month in advance of their Go-Live. There will be an EA One training environment for trainees to log into and complete exercises on timecards. This training will be half a day in duration and will be delivered remotely.
Timecard submitters will be trained using demo videos and user material (more information will be provided on this at the Engagement Sessions referenced above).
The EA One Hub also provides access to training materials such as a handbook which has been developed to outline the processes to follow when inputting and submitting timecards in the new system and videos to demonstrate the system working in action. These training materials can be used to build confidence in the new processes in advance of the formal training you will receive. Please see section ‘How Can I Learn More.’
