EA provides eligible employees with access to an occupational pension scheme when they commence work. The contract of employment will confirm details of the relevant pension scheme for teaching and non-teaching staff.

Non-Teaching Staff: Local Government Pension Scheme for Northern Ireland (LGPS (NI))

The Local Government Pension Scheme (NI) (the Scheme) is a defined benefit scheme open to local government employees that allows you to save while you are working in order to enjoy a pension when you retire.
The Education Authority is one of the contributing employers who meets a large part of the cost of providing the excellent range of secure pension benefits which are an extremely valuable and important part of your employment package.
