We're pleased to be participating in the new Job Start Scheme in conjunction with the Department for Communities (DfC) which aims to provide Trainee School Support Assistant job opportunities within a school environment.
This scheme will offer a number of placements in participating school for a period of six month’s. These paid job opportunities aim to provide appointees with the prospect to learn important work skills such as teamwork, problem solving and communication skills which will enhance their CV and future job prospects whilst increasing their confidence and transferable employability skills.
How to apply:
- If you are interested in participating in this scheme, and in receipt of Universal Credit, please contact your 'Work Coach' via your journal.
- If you are in receipt of Job Seeker’s Allowance, Employment and Support Allowance or Income Support, you should contact your Work Coach on 0300 300 7807.
- If you’re not receiving benefits, you must be between 16 – 24 years to take part in the Job Start Scheme. You should contact the Job Start Branch within the DfC on 0300 200 7807 to find out more.
