Content Creation Forum Co-create Resources for New Devices
20 June 2022
The Education Authority in partnership with Capita and Microsoft have launched an initiative to engage school leaders and teachers to maximise the usage of the new teacher devices recently rolled out to schools.
Fifteen school leaders, across a range of education phases and their associated teaching staff are currently engaged in the project which is made up of a ‘Principals’ Steering Group’ and ‘Content Creation Forum’.
The Content Creation Forum (pictured) met in C2k Craigavon on Tuesday to begin the process of co-creating resources alongside EA, Microsoft and Capita staff. The resources will highlight how the new Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus devices can be used to support teaching and learning.
The initial set of resources will be available in late August to coincide with a number of Teacher Device Roadshows.
The Portable Teacher Device project forms part of the wider EdIS programme which will bring a range of new services to schools in the coming months and years.
