Having been in the pipeline for the past 10 months, the arrival of the new site completely overhauls the organisation’s content offerings, as well as providing a more user focused and fit for purpose website that meets the needs of EA and its customers, partners and stakeholders.

Sara Long, EA Director of Operations & Estates and Chair of EA Website Project Board said:

“We are thrilled to announce the launch of the new website, we hope our staff, parents, young people, schools, and general public will be able to explore and access EA’s extensive range of education and support services with ease. We are very happy with the new look and feel of the website; especially its improved functionality and its enhanced resilience and availability.

Among the new features, the site contains integrated social media buttons for Facebook and Twitter. Make sure you follow us for key updates and notifications, @Ed_Authority and @educationauthorityni .

With over 800,000 users per year and over 10.5 million page views on an annual basis EA’s website is a key communication tool of the organisation."

The website will be updated with new content on a regular basis, including up to date information on technological changes on how we work.

The website represents the culmination of an enormous amount of work undertaken by EA’s Website and Intranet Project established in December 2017 with a remit to develop and implement a new website. This involved extensive engagement and consultation with key stakeholders to determine user and business requirements as well as widespread market research to incorporate best practice and modern techniques and technology.

As we endeavour to improve every aspect of our on and offline presence, we are excited to continue to work on EA’s evolving digital transformation programme which demonstrates EA’s commitment to strive for quality in everything we do.

We hope you like the changes, and if you have any feedback, please let us know by emailing info@eani.org.uk .
