The Education Authority’s Language and Communication Service (LCS) supports children from preschool and throughout primary school education who have language and communication needs.
This may be where a child has either one or both of the following:
- Receptive Language - Difficulty understanding or processing what is being said.
- Expressive Language - Difficulty in retrieving words and speaking in sentences.
The Education Authority’s Language and Communication Service (LCS) are currently providing a blend of school visits and remote learning sessions depending on individual circumstances.
