I would like to check if my child has been referred to your Service.

Referrals to the Service come from the Educational Psychology Service. If you wish to check if you child has been referred you can contact the Service directly.

If your child has not been referred we will advise you liaise with your child’s school. You can also follow up the referral with the Educational Psychologist.

You have received a referral for my child, when is my child going to get support?

I am interested in supporting my child with additional resources, are there any further resources available?

We have produced a range of information leaflets, suggested activities/resources and training videos to help parents/carers support their child’s literacy development. These are accessible via the Literacy Resources section.

I would like to send my staff on training to help them increase their knowledge and skills in helping to support children with Dyslexia/Literacy needs, can you help?

We have produced a number of training resources which are available to access via the School Development Portal. Staff will need to contact the Literacy Service mailbox to request the access code to gain access to training materials. For more information you can contact the Service.
