Governance and Leadership

Priorities for Youth policy mandated the establishment of a Regional Advisory Group (RAG) and the development of a 3 year Regional Youth Development Plan (RYDP) with representation from young people, voluntary organisations and other government departments assisted by the statutory partners. 

Practice development group is a fixed-term sub-group who take forward key actions from the former Practice Development Unit, Quality Assurance and Outcomes for Youth Work. This group aims to address sectoral needs and co-ordinate, resource and support youth work curriculum and services.

Planning and Monitoring group is a sub-group who take forward key actions in relation to Regional Assessment of need, planning and management information system.
