Outdoor Learning Service

The EA offers self-catered / residential accommodation based at: Ballyhome Centre in Antrim and Corrick Centre, in Tyrone.  We have two Outdoor Learning Day Centres based at: Epicentre Day Centre with a focus on cycling and use of the outdoor environment to support field studies which are linked to the school curriculum and at Conlig Day Centre: with a focus on cycling and water-based activities and the use of outdoor environments linked to the school curriculum. All of our sites and Centres have undergone refurbishment offering greatly improved facilities. You can see the full Overview Map here.

The EA also offers an experienced Peripatetic Instructor service to all schools or youth groups, either at our Day Centres or at schools/clubs. Our partnership working with Greenhill YMCA and the Corrymeela Community continues; in order to offer extended opportunities to our schools, groups and young people. Outdoor Learning Service also supports the delivery of the Duke of Edinburgh for all of Education Authority.

**All camp site rates are based on self-catering and self-programming, if your group require outdoor instructor support from EA Outdoor Learning services additional costs will apply based on need and subject to availability of staff. Two staff cabins (2 staff per cabin) available at Delmont and Ballyhome camp sites.
