Useful Back to School contact details.

With the new school term about to start, we have collated the contact details for any queries you may have in relation to our Special Educational Needs (SEN) services, free school meals and uniform grant, and school admissions.

Special Educational Needs

Guidance for parents, carers and schools is available on our Special Educational Needs section, including information on the SEN process, SEN placements and advice for parents

Our SEND Local IMPACT Teams (LITs) provide coordinated, multi-specialist support to children and young people with SEND at the earliest stages of their educational journey, before a formal Statement of SEN is required. Find out more about the support available and how to request it at SEND Local Impact Teams

Information on the statutory assessments and review process, including how to make an online referral, is available for schools and families at Statutory Assessment and Review Service.

Families applying for a new school place or a change of school can view a list of special schools and specialist provision in their area at Educational Settings. You can also hear directly from schools, parents/carers and pupils about the difference increased support has made.
