The Equality and Human Rights Unit is responsible for facilitating equality, good relations and human rights within the EA. The Unit provides high quality bespoke Equality and Human Rights advice and training to support EA in delivering better educational outcomes for Northern Ireland’s children and young people. The Unit also develop and lead on best practice diversity initiatives across EA.

Sign Language Interpreter Service
The EA Equality Unit source and book BSL/ISL approved interpreters for parents deaf and sign language users for meetings/ information sessions which relate to their child’s education and/or welfare.
