The Education Authority approves, registers and trains chaperones to safeguard children who have been licensed to perform. The CEET team maintains the register of all licensed chaperones in Northern Ireland on behalf of the Education Authority. Application Process
- Application: Application AND photo must be received/submitted before your application can begin being processed.
- References: CEET will request references from referees listed on your application. It is your responsibility to ensure your referees complete and submit this promptly.
- Training: Upon receipt of approved references, you will be emailed a booking link to enrol onto training. You must complete all tasks that have been outlined including the course evaluation.
- Access NI: Following receipt of your completed evaluation, CEET will issue guidance via email on how to apply for your Access NI check. This is the final stage of the application process
- Clearance: Once CEET receive notification of your enhanced disclosure certificate being issued, we will then produce your chaperone licence.
- Chaperone Licence: CEET will issue via email a digital copy of your chaperone licence.
