Ag Ceangal Seomraí Ranga: Comhpháirtíocht Nua i Rang 6

I mbliana, tá daltaí Rang 6 ó Springfield Primary School agus Bunscoil an tSléibhe Dhuibh ag obair i gcomhpháirtíocht nua spreagúil trí chlár PEACEPLUS Aspire.

Le chéile, chruthaigh siad Plean Gníomhaíochta dírithe ar fheabhas foghlama, caidrimh a thógáil agus cruthaitheacht a cheiliúradh.

Tá an chomhpháirtíocht dírithe ar cheithre phríomhréimse:

  • Uimhreas: Tá daltaí agus múinteoirí ag roinnt dea‑chleachtais agus ag tabhairt faoi ghníomhaíochtaí réiteach fadhbanna le chéile, lena n‑áirítear úsáid Izak9.
  • Ealaíona Cruthaitheacha: Tá seisiúin ealaíne chomhpháirteacha ag tabhairt spáis do dhaltaí smaointe a chur in iúl agus comhoibriú ar thionscadail ildaite.
  • Foghlaim sa cheantar: Ag baint úsáid as spásanna pobail áitiúla, tá an dá ghrúpa ag fiosrú an dúlra, obair foirne agus foghlaim bunaithe ar an timpeallacht.
  • Podchraoltaí: Tá daltaí ag pleanáil, ag taifeadadh agus ag táirgeadh a gcuid podchraoltaí féin chun a gcuid taithí agus machnaimh a roinnt.

Tá an comhoibriú seo ag tacú le daltaí muinín a fhorbairt, cairdeas nua a chruthú agus tuiscint níos láidre a fháil ar a bpobal comhroinnte. Le dul chun cinn na bliana, tá an dá scoil ag súil le tógáil ar an tús dearfach seo agus a gcuid oibre a léiriú.

Connecting Classrooms: A New Partnership in P6

This year, Primary 6 pupils from Springfield Primary School and Bunscoil an tSléibhe Dhuibh have begun an exciting new partnership through the PEACEPLUS Aspire programme. Together, they have created a focused Action Plan designed to strengthen learning, build relationships, and celebrate creativity.

The partnership centres on four key areas:

  • Numeracy: Pupils and teachers are sharing best practice and tackling problem‑solving activities together, including the use of Izak9.
  • Creative Arts: Joint art sessions are giving pupils space to express ideas and collaborate on colourful projects.
  • Outdoor Learning: Using local community spaces, both groups are exploring nature, teamwork, and place‑based learning.
  • Podcasting: Pupils are planning, recording, and producing their own podcasts to share their experiences and reflections.

This collaboration is already helping pupils develop confidence, new friendships, and a stronger understanding of their shared community. As the year continues, both schools look forward to building on this positive start and showcasing their work.
