EA pay tribute to young people on AS & A-level results day
14 August 2025
The Education Authority (EA) has commended students as they received their AS and A-level results today.
Speaking at a visit Bloomfield Collegiate School, EA Chief Executive Richard Pengelly praised the hard work and determination of young people across Northern Ireland receiving their results today:
“I would like to congratulate all students receiving their AS, A-level and Equivalent Qualifications. This is a very important day for schools and for young people, and their families, reaching this significant milestone in their educational journey. They should be incredibly proud of their achievements.
“I also wish to recognise the efforts of Principals and all school staff who have worked tirelessly to support their students and help them to realise their full potential.
“For those young people who did not achieve the grades they had hoped for, I encourage them to speak to their teachers to discuss all the options available, including the many fantastic opportunities open in further education, training or employment. Also, there are many sources of support and guidance available to help pupils make the right choices.
“I wish each and every young person the very best, whichever pathway they choose for their future.”
