The visit offered pupils the chance to learn, connect and have fun beyond the classroom, with an unforgettable boat trip along the Causeway Coast hosted by Aquaholics. Travelling by sea towards the iconic Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, pupils experienced the area’s spectacular scenery while discovering more about the local coastline and environment.

After the boat journey, the group continued their day with games and activities in the park and on the beach. The relaxed setting gave pupils valuable time to work together, build confidence and strengthen friendships across the three schools.

The Ballycastle trip was a fantastic example of shared education in action, bringing young people together through meaningful experiences that encourage collaboration, understanding and lasting memories.
