PEACEPLUS ASPIRE workshops held to support and empower new Shared Education Coordinators
7 October 2025
PEACEPLUS ASPIRE recently hosted a series of Teacher Professional Learning sessions in Coleraine, Cookstown, and Belfast to support and empower new Shared Education Coordinators.
These sessions brought together dedicated educators to collaborate, share ideas, and learn strategies for building inclusive, cross-community partnerships in their schools.
Through interactive workshops and peer learning, participants developed practical skills and a strong support network. The enthusiasm and engagement at each venue reflected a shared commitment to fostering inclusive education.
PEACEPLUS ASPIRE (Advancing Shared Partnerships through Inclusive Relationships in Education) is led by the Education Authority (EA), alongside Léargas, Early Years- the organisation for young children, National Childhood Network and the Fermanagh Trust. The project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB).
Through collaboration between and within pre-school settings and schools PEACEPLUS ASPIRE will promote good relations and empower children and young people to contribute to a more cohesive, peaceful and prosperous society.
