Schools Celebrate a Year of Friendship, Fun and Shared Education Success
7 July 2026
Two school partnerships rounded off the academic year with celebration, laughter and teamwork, as pupils came together for special end-of-year events designed to mark the friendships and connections built throughout the year.
The primary partnership between Orchard County Primary School and St Patrick’s Primary School enjoyed a memorable day at Parkanaur Forest, delivered in collaboration with the Speedwell Trust. Surrounded by woodland, pupils embraced the outdoors through a lively programme of activities, including a bug hunt and team games, giving them the chance to work together, explore, and strengthen new friendships.
There was just as much excitement for the post-primary partnership of St Joseph’s College, Devenish College and Erne Integrated College, where students came together for an energetic end-of-term celebration. Sports challenges and inflatable activities brought plenty of fun to the day, helping students build confidence, enjoy shared experiences and celebrate the positive relationships formed across the three schools.
PEACEPLUS ASPIRE (Advancing Shared Partnerships through Inclusive Relationships in Education) is led by the Education Authority (EA), alongside Léargas, Early Years- the organisation for young children, National Childhood Network (NCN) and the Fermanagh Trust. The project is supported by PEACEPLUS, a programme managed by the Special EU Programmes Body (SEUPB). It aims to provide direct and sustained contact between children and young people from all backgrounds.
