Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Survey

26 June 2023

The Education Authority’s Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Transformation Programme has been established to deliver all the work that is required to make positive and lasting change to the special educational needs system in Northern Ireland.

The aim of the programme is to transform services and create a system that will deliver the right support at the right time for all our children and young people with SEND, so that they can get the best possible start in life.

Before any changes are made, the programme needs to establish a baseline understanding of the confidence and satisfaction levels of all users and service providers for SEND services in Northern Ireland. This includes your opinion. We have created a survey which should take around five minutes to complete. Any feedback you provide will help us shape the change for SEND service provision in Northern Ireland.

The survey will be LIVE until Sunday 6 August at midnight.

As we want to reach as many people as possible with this exercise, we would be grateful if you could encourage anyone you feel may have an invested interest in the SEND system in Northern Ireland, to also take part.

Your help on this is greatly appreciated and we thank you for taking the time to inform this very crucial piece of work.

This survey is now closed.
