A further 450 schools have requested recordings of the Webinar.

Any schools seeking further information and support on reestablishing their C2k accounts are asked to contact our Service Desk on 0800 0931 541 as soon as possible.  The Service Desk will remain open 8am to 5pm throughout for the remainder of this week and through the incoming weekend.

Schools' cooperation before the start of the new term is very much advised. This will help minimise disruption and delays on Monday when the Service Desk is likely to be dealing with significant numbers of calls.

EA is grateful to all schools who attended the Webinar and who have worked with us over recent days.

The C2k reconnection process involves password resets for schools and subsequently for individual pupils and staff.  The password reset was initiated in response to the cyber incident last week.

We are advised by our system managers that the cyber incident is now contained and that we are in remediation phase.

A full investigation is being undertaken, and we are advised that there is no evidence to date of data exfiltration or corruption. The situation will continue to be monitored.

Intensive work is ongoing to get C2k fully back to normal, as quickly and securely as possible.
