Applications for pre-school and primary one places for the school year from September 2026 to June 2027 will open on EA Connect on Wednesday, 7 January 2026 at 12 noon.

Resources to help you communicate with parents and guardians who will be applying through the pre-school and primary one admissions process, are now available for download from the EA website.

The Social Media Toolkit contains graphics and messaging to support the promotion of this year’s process. We hope you find these helpful and appreciate your continued support in sharing via your pre-school’s/school’s communications channels.

Resources for promotion of Stage 2 of the pre-school process will follow prior to the opening date of 23 March 2026.
