Celebrating World Autism Month
The Autism Advisory and Intervention Service (AAIS) are celebrating World Autism Awareness Day on 2 April 2020 and showcasing the amazing talents of our children and young people throughout the month of April.
A video of some of the amazing art work of our young people has been uploaded to the EA website and may be accessed below.
Intervention for individual pupils referred to AAIS will be suspended while schools remain closed.
Planned trainings to parents and professionals will also be suspended at this time.
However, AAIS is now developing ways to continue support to our families, children and young people.
We are providing resources and suggestions for strategies to use in the home in the (AAIS) area on the EA website.
We encourage you to access this area and check regularly for any updates.
